UVPaint

Rhino plugin · v1.0.0 · updated

New

Paint directly onto an object's UV texture space in the Rhino viewport. Pick a texture slot — or every filled slot at once — and paint with a round, square or marquee brush, an alpha stencil, an image, or the clone and blur tools. Strokes cross UV seams, and the result is written back as a new texture beside the .3dm. How to install UVPaint

  1. On the computer running Rhino, run _PackageManager and search for UVPaint.
  2. Or install it from a terminal (assumes a default Rhino 9 WIP installation):
    Windows (PowerShell)
    & "C:\Program Files\Rhino 9 WIP\System\Yak.exe" install UVPaint
    macOS (Terminal)
    "/Applications/Rhino 9 WIP.app/Contents/Resources/bin/yak" install UVPaint
  3. Or download a .yak file and drag it onto an open Rhino window.

Restart Rhino once the install finishes.
