Follow selection — Grasshopper canvas toolbar toggle. While enabled, selected components and parameters that have preview off still draw in the Rhino viewport via a display conduit, without changing Preview On/Off or breaking copy/paste. v1.1.9: gate preview to the active Grasshopper canvas document and redraw all Rhino views on document switch (fixes ghost preview when opening a new definition). v1.1.8: per-document toggle remembered via local AppData settings.

How to install follow-selection
- Click Install in Rhino to open Rhino's Package Manager with follow-selection selected, or run
_PackageManagerinside Rhino and search for follow-selection. - Or install it from a terminal (assumes a default Rhino 8 installation):Windows (PowerShell)
& "C:\Program Files\Rhino 8\System\Yak.exe" install follow-selectionmacOS (Terminal)"/Applications/Rhino 8.app/Contents/Resources/bin/yak" install follow-selection - Or download the .yak file above and drag it onto an open Rhino window.
Restart Rhino once the install finishes.
