miniVivisection

Rhino & Grasshopper plugin · v0.2.0-beta.370 · updated

Pre-releaseNew

A companion to the Rhino 8 Script Editor's debugger (Windows, Rhino 8.36 or later). While a script is paused, its watched values (points, curves, meshes, planes...) are drawn in the Rhino viewports, values show in the code and its tooltips, and Rhino stays usable. Breakpoints get conditions, hit counts and log messages; Ctrl+Alt+B pauses a running script. Tabs add a Python prompt in the paused frame, PowerShell, and Claude Code (installed separately; code Claude wants to run waits for /run). For Grasshopper: script components that can be debugged and stopped, V°Edit (edit Grasshopper geometry in Rhino), V°Text, V°Protect, and script Panels shown as code. With 17 Script Editor and 12 Grasshopper lessons and a manual (V°Help). Experimental: it patches parts of the Script Editor at runtime (Harmony) and runs a local MCP server for Claude.
