Work-in-progress beta, it keeps progressing each day. Robohopper is a bridge for your agentic geeky things inside Grasshopper - basically an overlord Assistant, but it started as a custom component factory and it still does that pretty well. Your agents create full definitions on the Canvas (components, wires, values, sliders, panels, groups), edit what is already there, write C# and Python script components live, keep the layout tidy and readable, detect and respect your manual edits, and every gesture stays undoable as one native Ctrl+Z entry. It is free, we are not vampires: it works with your daily-use subscription (Claude, Gemini or ChatGPT - one of those is needed). This installer welcomes you with a short setup and installs the Robohopper bridge and its agent skills for you. Using the STARTER PROMPT is recommended (Claude Code, Antigravity, Codex, Cursor, or similar). More at https://simonepeluffo.com/robohopper .

How to install robohopper

  1. Click Install in Rhino to open Rhino's Package Manager with robohopper selected, or run _PackageManager inside Rhino and search for robohopper.
  2. Or install it from a terminal (assumes a default Rhino 8 installation):
    Windows (PowerShell)
    & "C:\Program Files\Rhino 8\System\Yak.exe" install robohopper
  3. Or download the .yak file above and drag it onto an open Rhino window.

Restart Rhino once the install finishes.
