Array4D — Rule-Based Experimental Assembly Tool for Rhino - Array4D is a Rhinocommon command for generating controlled spatial variations from a single three-dimensional fragment. Rather than producing neutral copies, the script operates as a rule-based array system, allowing fragments to be repeated, rotated, and scaled across multiple directions while preserving legibility of solid–void relationships, part–whole hierarchies, and micro–macro spatial effects. The tool is designed for experimental assemblies in architectural design studios, where repetition is not a matter of efficiency but a means of spatial inquiry. Each execution produces a new, isolated geometry group, enabling iterative exploration without contaminating previous runs or the original fragment. Array4D is particularly suited for workflows that examine: Semi space-filling behaviors; Directional logic and repetition; Void generation through assembly; Rule-driven variation rather than manual composition

- Click Install in Rhino to open Rhino's Package Manager with array4d selected, or run
_PackageManagerinside Rhino and search for array4d. - Or install it from a terminal (assumes a default Rhino 8 installation):Windows (PowerShell)
