QuickUnit adds a Rhino command called Unit for quickly changing model and layout/page units. Basic mode applies the change to both model and layouts and scales both to preserve real-world size. Advanced mode lets users choose model/layout scope and scaling behavior.

How to install QuickUnit

  1. Click Install in Rhino to open Rhino's Package Manager with QuickUnit selected, or run _PackageManager inside Rhino and search for QuickUnit.
  2. Or install it from a terminal (assumes a default Rhino 8 installation):
    Windows (PowerShell)
    & "C:\Program Files\Rhino 8\System\Yak.exe" install QuickUnit
    macOS (Terminal)
    "/Applications/Rhino 8.app/Contents/Resources/bin/yak" install QuickUnit
  3. Or download the .yak file above and drag it onto an open Rhino window.

Restart Rhino once the install finishes.
