Suspended Ceiling Utility provides set of tools to generate ceiling framework from hatch. Build CD and T type hanging systems from set of lines. Generating support elements taking into consideration HVAC (or any other mesh). Suspended ceiling framework and architectural ceiling could be tilted. Export quantity list. Project is funded by NextGenerationEU.

How to install SuspendedCeilingUtility

  1. Click Install in Rhino to open Rhino's Package Manager with SuspendedCeilingUtility selected, or run _PackageManager inside Rhino and search for SuspendedCeilingUtility.
  2. Or install it from a terminal (assumes a default Rhino 8 installation):
    Windows (PowerShell)
    & "C:\Program Files\Rhino 8\System\Yak.exe" install SuspendedCeilingUtility
    macOS (Terminal)
    "/Applications/Rhino 8.app/Contents/Resources/bin/yak" install SuspendedCeilingUtility
  3. Or download the .yak file above and drag it onto an open Rhino window.

Restart Rhino once the install finishes.
