Mechanism and constraint modelling inside Rhino. Define parts, connect them with hinge, slider, ball or fixed joints, then drag one and watch the whole linkage follow. Parts can also be chained freely, held together by shape alone. Motion sequences can be authored, played back and recorded. No Grasshopper definition, no keyframes.

How to install RhinoChelae

  1. Click Install in Rhino to open Rhino's Package Manager with RhinoChelae selected, or run _PackageManager inside Rhino and search for RhinoChelae.
  2. Or install it from a terminal (assumes a default Rhino 8 installation):
    Windows (PowerShell)
    & "C:\Program Files\Rhino 8\System\Yak.exe" install RhinoChelae
    macOS (Terminal)
    "/Applications/Rhino 8.app/Contents/Resources/bin/yak" install RhinoChelae
  3. Or download the .yak file above and drag it onto an open Rhino window.

Restart Rhino once the install finishes.
