This plugin includes a set of tools to help build the curtain wall of the Karlatornet Tower, originally designed by Skidmore, Owings & Merrill. These tools are meant to be used alongside the in-person demonstration taught by Andy Payne at the AEC Tech workshop in New York City, October 2024.

How to install Karlatornet

  1. Click Install in Rhino to open Rhino's Package Manager with Karlatornet selected, or run _PackageManager inside Rhino and search for Karlatornet.
  2. Or install it from a terminal (assumes a default Rhino 8 installation):
    Windows (PowerShell)
    & "C:\Program Files\Rhino 8\System\Yak.exe" install Karlatornet
    macOS (Terminal)
    "/Applications/Rhino 8.app/Contents/Resources/bin/yak" install Karlatornet
  3. Or download the .yak file above and drag it onto an open Rhino window.

Restart Rhino once the install finishes.
