Game-style WASD + mouse-look fly-through for Rhino 8 viewports. Run Fly, then W/A/S/D to move, mouse to look, Q/E up/down, 2/1 speed up/down, Shift fast, Ctrl (Cmd on Mac) slow. Space switches to walk mode: eye level 1.6 m, following floors, stairs and ramps. Enter, Esc or click (left or right) to finish; UndoView returns to the start. Commands: Fly, FlySettings. Windows and Mac.

How to install Fly

  1. Click Install in Rhino to open Rhino's Package Manager with Fly selected, or run _PackageManager inside Rhino and search for Fly.
  2. Or install it from a terminal (assumes a default Rhino 8 installation):
    Windows (PowerShell)
    & "C:\Program Files\Rhino 8\System\Yak.exe" install Fly
    macOS (Terminal)
    "/Applications/Rhino 8.app/Contents/Resources/bin/yak" install Fly
  3. Or download the .yak file above and drag it onto an open Rhino window.

Restart Rhino once the install finishes.
