TopMod3D

Rhino plugin · v2.1.0 · updated

New

TopMod 3D inside Rhino. The topological mesh modeler runs in a dockable Rhino panel with its own saved workspace layout; every edit lands in Rhino live as a NURBS polysurface (or a mesh while a simulation streams), and moving, scaling or point-editing that object in Rhino updates TopMod. Orbiting in TopMod turns Rhino's Perspective view. Fabrication tools (plywood stacking, papercraft nets) stream their parts into Rhino as curves — assembled, flat, net cut and net fold — ready for the CNC or laser. Bake freezes a copy (NURBS or mesh) with its fab curves under a numbered sub-layer; Import sends selected Rhino meshes, polysurfaces or SubDs into TopMod. Everything is organized under a TopMod layer tree (Live, Baked, Fab). Commands: TopMod, TopModWindow, TopModWorkspace, TopModDefaultLayout, TopModBake, TopModImport.
