Grasshopper tools for additive manufacturing: tetrahedral meshing (TetGen, MMG3D), lattice generation, mesh booleans and simplification (Manifold), adaptive remeshing (MMGS), PDF layout export, and mesh/geometry utilities. Requires Rhino 8 or later. On Windows, Rhino must be running the .NET Core runtime: run the SetDotNetRuntime command, choose NETCore, and restart Rhino. Otherwise the plug-in will not load.

How to install SlicelabTools

  1. Click Install in Rhino to open Rhino's Package Manager with SlicelabTools selected, or run _PackageManager inside Rhino and search for SlicelabTools.
  2. Or install it from a terminal (assumes a default Rhino 8 installation):
    Windows (PowerShell)
    & "C:\Program Files\Rhino 8\System\Yak.exe" install SlicelabTools
    macOS (Terminal)
    "/Applications/Rhino 8.app/Contents/Resources/bin/yak" install SlicelabTools
  3. Or download the .yak file above and drag it onto an open Rhino window.

Restart Rhino once the install finishes.
