The SkyCiv Grasshopper Plugin allows structural engineers to build the models in Grasshopper & transport them from Grasshopper to SkyCiv S3D. They can then run powerful FEM analysis and member design checks on models in S3D .

How to install SkyCiv_Grasshopper

  1. Click Install in Rhino to open Rhino's Package Manager with SkyCiv_Grasshopper selected, or run _PackageManager inside Rhino and search for SkyCiv_Grasshopper.
  2. Or install it from a terminal (assumes a default Rhino 8 installation):
    Windows (PowerShell)
    & "C:\Program Files\Rhino 8\System\Yak.exe" install SkyCiv_Grasshopper
    macOS (Terminal)
    "/Applications/Rhino 8.app/Contents/Resources/bin/yak" install SkyCiv_Grasshopper
  3. Or download the .yak file above and drag it onto an open Rhino window.

Restart Rhino once the install finishes.
