Designed component labels for Grasshopper. Open Display > Margin > Open Label Studio to style labels with installed fonts, colours, backgrounds, borders and spacing. Includes five starting styles and a personal preset library. No component needs to be added to your definition. Experimental preview for Rhino 9 / Grasshopper 1. macOS Apple Silicon has been tested live. The Windows build is available for evaluation and has not yet been tested in a Windows Rhino session. Rhino 8 is not supported in this preview. Labels start off; enable Show component labels under Display > Margin.

How to install Margin

Click Install in Rhino to open Rhino's Package Manager with Margin selected, or run _PackageManager inside Rhino and search for Margin.On the computer running Rhino, run _PackageManager and search for Margin.

Or install it from a terminal (assumes a default Rhino 9 WIP installation):

Windows (PowerShell)

& "C:\Program Files\Rhino 9 WIP\System\Yak.exe" install Margin

macOS (Terminal)

"/Applications/Rhino 9 WIP.app/Contents/Resources/bin/yak" install Margin

Or download a .yak file and drag it onto an open Rhino window.
