Interactive Rhino tutor in a panel. Pick your field (architecture, engineering and product design, footwear, jewellery, marine, marine science, set and prop design) and it takes you step by step through McNeel's Level 1 and Level 2 guides and courses on NURBS, SubD, meshes, drawing conventions, layouts, problem solving and your field. The architecture, footwear, jewellery and set design courses end with a project: a house and an eaves detail, a shoe from a last, a solitaire ring and a period set. Each lesson sets up its own exercise, each step ticks itself off when you have done it in the model, and you earn points, stars, ranks and badges as you go. Ask a question in the panel and Rhino's built-in AI looks at your model and answers right there.

How to install LEARN-RHINO-9

  1. On the computer running Rhino, run _PackageManager and search for LEARN-RHINO-9.
  2. Or install it from a terminal (assumes a default Rhino 9 WIP installation):
    Windows (PowerShell)
    & "C:\Program Files\Rhino 9 WIP\System\Yak.exe" install LEARN-RHINO-9
    macOS (Terminal)
    "/Applications/Rhino 9 WIP.app/Contents/Resources/bin/yak" install LEARN-RHINO-9
  3. Or download a .yak file and drag it onto an open Rhino window.

Restart Rhino once the install finishes.
