IDEA StatiCa for Grasshopper provides tools to create and modify IDEA Open Model and interact with IDEA StatiCa Structural Design Applications in a flexible and powerful way. NOW updated to interact with new Connection API. -> From version 26.0.3, .NET 7 is no longer supported. On Rhino 8 use the .NET 8 runtime (Rhino 8.20 or newer), or switch to the .NET Framework runtime via the SetDotNetRuntime command. Rhino 7 remains supported via .NET Framework. -> Versions 0.2.5 and greater will work with IDEA StatiCa versions > 25.1.0 -> Versions 0.2.4 and greater will work with IDEA StatiCa versions > 25.0.5 -> Versions 0.2.0 and greater will work with IDEA StatiCa versions > 24.1.0 -> Versions 0.1.# will work with IDEA StatiCa version < 24.1.2

How to install IDEAStatiCa

  1. Click Install in Rhino to open Rhino's Package Manager with IDEAStatiCa selected, or run _PackageManager inside Rhino and search for IDEAStatiCa.
  2. Or install it from a terminal (assumes a default Rhino 8 installation):
    Windows (PowerShell)
    & "C:\Program Files\Rhino 8\System\Yak.exe" install IDEAStatiCa
  3. Or download the .yak file above and drag it onto an open Rhino window.

Restart Rhino once the install finishes.
