FlatPack is a command designed to generate unrolled surfaces from your model. Once installed, simply enter FlatPack and select the polysurfaces you wish to process. After you input the material thickness and canvas size, the tool will automatically generate the unrolled surfaces, tag the corresponding layers, and group the result with your original model. **Please make sure that all selected polysurfaces have the same thickness to avoid errors.**

How to install FlatPack

  1. Click Install in Rhino to open Rhino's Package Manager with FlatPack selected, or run _PackageManager inside Rhino and search for FlatPack.
  2. Or install it from a terminal (assumes a default Rhino 7 installation):
    Windows (PowerShell)
    & "C:\Program Files\Rhino 7\System\Yak.exe" install FlatPack
    macOS (Terminal)
    "/Applications/Rhino 7.app/Contents/Resources/bin/yak" install FlatPack
  3. Or download the .yak file above and drag it onto an open Rhino window.

Restart Rhino once the install finishes.
