Create, edit and manage clipping boxes - six inward-facing clipping planes that show only the model inside the box. The ClippingBoxManager command opens a dockable panel to create, rename, edit, delete and switch boxes on/off (one box clips at a time).

How to install ClippingBox

  1. Click Install in Rhino to open Rhino's Package Manager with ClippingBox selected, or run _PackageManager inside Rhino and search for ClippingBox.
  2. Or install it from a terminal (assumes a default Rhino 9 WIP installation):
    Windows (PowerShell)
    & "C:\Program Files\Rhino 9 WIP\System\Yak.exe" install ClippingBox
    macOS (Terminal)
    "/Applications/Rhino 9 WIP.app/Contents/Resources/bin/yak" install ClippingBox
  3. Or download the .yak file above and drag it onto an open Rhino window.

Restart Rhino once the install finishes.
